Invest in Women.
Tranform Global Health.
Women in Global Health began in 2015 as a conversation among four women committed to advancing gender equality in global health leadership. Today, it is a growing global movement, bringing together advocates, practitioners, researchers, and leaders across regions to challenge inequity and reshape who holds power in health.
Despite our reach and impact, much of our work remains unfunded and sustained through volunteer leadership. Your support is critical to ensure this movement not only continues, but grows stronger and more influential worldwide.
Why Invest in Women’s Leadership in Global Health?
Women represent the majority of the global health workforce, yet they remain significantly underrepresented in senior leadership and decision-making roles. This imbalance has real consequences. Leadership that lacks gender equity leads to inefficient policies, less inclusive systems, and poorer health outcomes.
Investing in women’s leadership:
Strengthens health systems and governance
Advances equity, accountability, and innovation
Ensures health policies reflect lived realities
Improves outcomes for communities everywhere
