Dr. Judit M. Díaz Bazán is a distinguished leader in public health and digital health innovation across Latin America and the Caribbean. She is a recipient of the prestigious Women Leaders in Digital Health Training Grant from El Bosque University and serves as Co-Chair of the Public Health Commission for RECAINSA®, the Collaborative Network of the Americas in Health Informatics.
In Argentina, Dr. Díaz Bazán plays a pivotal role as Vice President of the Digital Transformation Commission of the Argentine Medical Association and coordinates the Health and Environment Network at Universidad del Gran Rosario. She is an active member of the Health Innovation Node at the National University of Córdoba and the Public Health Commission of Women in Global Health Argentina, where she also serves on the board.
Dedicated to improving health equity, she volunteers with the Sayani Foundation, focusing on non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in multicultural communities in Northern Argentina. Currently, she coordinates the Bolivian SORMAS Project Pilot in collaboration with GIZ and SORMAS Foundation Germany, advancing digital health tools for outbreak surveillance and management under the One Amazon Health initiative.
