Women in Global Health Cameroon was initially founded by Dr Nicole Fouda Mbarga with the support of Professor Rose Leke and some mentors from the Higher Women Consortiumm, as well as Professor Yap Boum II. The movement was officially launched in Cameroon at the International Conference on Public Health Emergencies organized by the Ministry of Health. WGH Cameroon is a non-profit association which aims to promote female leadership, particularly in the field of health.
