Workplace gender-based violence (GBV) was reported by ⅔ of healthcare workers, despite the issue being severely underreported. Overwhelming data calls for action to eliminate hostile working conditions.
In the fast-changing world, digital safety keeps posing new challenges, especially for women and gender minorities that continuously face online harassment and other forms of discrimination. In this event, we want to explore the threats and benefits of digital tools in regard to workplace gender-based violence with a special focus on the healthcare workforce. We also recognize the role of young people in the prevention of GBV and support for violence survivors and victims.
The event will take the form of a panel discussion with diverse youth- and women-led organizations that address workplace GBV in the digital era, especially in healthcare.
