Dr. Sitra Nuredin

Senior Program Officer

Dr. Sitra Nuredin, Women In Global Health Senior Program Officer, is a medical doctor and project management professional based in Addis Ababa Ethiopia. She is currently working as a Program Officer in Women in Global Health supporting the Africa region chapters on advocacy and movement building. She has a multitude of experiences in health advocacy and RMNCH engaging in multiple initiatives such as the International Working Group for Health Systems Strengthening as the Advocacy and Media Director and the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Initiative as a member of the Addis Ababa hub.

Sitra graduated with a medical degree with distinction from St.Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management from Unity University. She is a Fellow of the International Maternal and Newborn Health Conference by Align MNH and a project coordinator for Tankua Podcast, a youth-led SRHR podcast.
