Arushi Raj (she/her) is a passionate advocate for gender equity, women’s health, and rights, based in New Delhi, India, with experience in project management, multidisciplinary research, partnership building, strategic communication, and coordination. She holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from the Delhi School of Economics. Previously, she worked as the Chapter Coordinator at Women in Global Health, India Chapter, where she led and supported chapter development, research, communications, and advocacy on key areas such as gender-responsive health systems for achieving UHC, women’s leadership initiatives, and empowering female frontline health workers in India. She has also worked at policy think tanks, the Centre for Social Research, and the National Human Rights Commission, India, leading projects, visual communications, stakeholder management, and advocacy on key policy issues in India. Throughout her career, she has been involved in a wide range of projects related to gender and human rights through an intersectional lens, addressing critical issues such as gender-based violence, gender-inclusive digital healthcare, SRHR, women’s leadership at the grassroots level, gender, and migration, among others.
