Ms. Irene Alaya Adogboba

Coordinating Director

Alaya is a committed feminist and public health expert with 20 years of experience in complex global health policy and programming and technical support. She has a substantial record of mobilizing evidence for advocacy to strengthen equitable health policy and programming and extensive thematic experience in antimicrobial resistance, malaria, nutrition and HIV/AIDS as well as adolescent SRHR, reproductive, maternal, newborn, child health. 

She is the founder and co-director of Tevomme Health Equity Partners. She is also an Associate Director of Prosper Mama Africa and is currently an independent consultant to international organizations including UNAIDs. She is a member of the Worldwide Association of Female Professionals and the American Public Health Association. She is an Edward Mason Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School and has built strong international networks in Africa and other emerging markets. She holds an MPA from Harvard’s Kennedy School, an MPH from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a BA from the University of Ghana.
