Skye Collins holds a degree from the University of Chicago in Neuroscience and Health and Society. Currently, she serves as the Director of Operations for Women in Global Health, bringing a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the organization. She oversees a broad range of operational functions including HR management, grant management, donor engagement, planning, budgeting, and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) with a focus on financial reporting. Previously an Operations & Finance Manager, she played a pivotal role in supporting the Leadership Team and the organization’s operational strategies. Her responsibilities spanned project management, external representation and participation, partner engagement and coordination, and organizational development. Before that, she served as Operations Associate and Executive Assistant, where she demonstrated exceptional organizational and administrative skills. She started at Women in Global Health as an Operations Intern, coordinating internal communication across teams, calendar management, and supported and reported on partner outreach for the collection of organizational commitments and government pledges as part of the COVID 50/50 Campaign. She is a first-generation Cuban-American passionate about gender equity and global health, and she believes in collaboration and critical empathy. She has a unique background that combines knowledge of social determinants of health with human resources, finance, communications, and administrative experience.
