Founded in 2023
The Italian Chapter of WGH was founded in 2023 by a group of women working in the field of public/global health, migration and sustainable development, and medicine. The Chapter is hosted by the Center for Multidisciplinary Research and Health Science (MACH) at Statale University of Milan, and it is currently in its incubation phase.

- Conducting advocacy at multiple levels to increase diversity and promote the adoption of inclusive leadership models within Italian health institutions
Our Work
We aim to collaborate with the existing feminist and global health realities on the Italian territory to create opportunities for transformative change, and in particular support and promote a smoother career progression for women working in global health in Italy.
