Singapore
Founded: June 2023
Women in Global Health Singapore was founded in June 2023 and is hosted by ACCESS Health International Southeast Asia, a global health non-profit think tank, advisory group, and implementation partner. This movement was initiated to tackle gender equity issues in both access to health and in careers of the healthcare sector in Singapore. The Singapore Chapter aims to advance gender equity nationally, and to be an active member of the growing WGH global movement in Southeast Asia.
The Singapore Chapter will build an extensive network of leaders and an enabling environment for the promotion of transformative leadership in health, in all levels of experience, background, and knowledge, that is gender transformational. It offers a platform for visibility and recognition to women shaping the health landscape in Singapore and beyond. The platform also leverages opportunities for equal inclusion of women in conferences, panels, and job prospects.
