A grassroots advocate, she is adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams and coordinating multi-stakeholder projects.
Her publications examine Social Protection Floors for care workers in the United States, Integrated Health and Long-Term Care systems in Latin America and the Caribbean, Rights-based access to social benefits in Europe, and UHC reforms in Africa.
Mariapia is fluent in English, Spanish, and French and holds a Master of Science in International and Social Public Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
