Women in Global Health and COSAMED are teaming up to co-host a virtual consultation involving Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) worldwide. This event will provide crucial advice to shape the World Health Organization’s (WHO) annual and three-year management response plan for addressing sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment (SEAH). The insights garnered from this consultation will be presented at the upcoming Prevention of SEAH conference scheduled to take place in Geneva at the end of November 2023.
Event Structure:
Our event will feature a virtual interactive dialogue with speakers who possess hands-on experience in working with communities and supporting victims and survivors of SEAH. The 100-minute session will include prominent speakers delivering keynote messages, followed by a 60-minute breakout group discussion, and concluding remarks.
Why You Should Join Us:
We invite you to participate in this event to gain valuable insights from CSOs actively engaged in assisting SEAH victims and survivors within the global health context. Together, we aim to identify the challenges and opportunities faced by victims and survivors of SEAH, with the ultimate goal of enhancing a victim-survivor-centered approach in WHO’s prevention and response strategies for sexual misconduct. Your participation and expertise can make a significant impact on the path toward a safer and more inclusive global health environment.
