Dr. Mahmood F. Abdulameer Al-Hamody, Women in Global Health Policy Associate is a medical doctor, recently graduated from Alexandria University in Egypt, and is originally from Iraq. He is especially involved and interested in the intersection of health and human rights issues, including the right to health and access to health care, migrants’ and refugees’ health, violence against healthcare, discrimination, and inclusion as well as health equity with an overarching focus on meaningful youth participation and engagement. Mahmood has vast experience in training and non-formal education, as well as advocacy and policy-making.
