Dr. Roomi Aziz | Pakistan

Dr. Roomi Aziz is a medical doctor and a global health management professional. She has over twelve years of progressive experience in the development sector in project design and management, policy analysis, monitoring & evaluation, research management, data visualisation and communication design, having worked with public offices as well as international development partners, including USAID, DFID, UNICEF, UNDP, WHO, UN Women, British Council and GFATM to name a few. Her recent work focuses on addressing inequalities in health systems for global prosperity, mainstreaming gender in public program design tools, and defining human resources for health crisis from an inequality lens. She is a doctoral researcher at the University of Essex, UK working on health workforce crisis. She has an MBA from Lahore University of Management Sciences, an MBBS from University of Health Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan. She is the co-founder and technical lead for Women in Global Health, Pakistan Chapter; and the regional coordinator for the Migration Health in South Asia (MiHSA) network.
