Dr. Jeanette Godinez Alejandre

Jeanette is a disruptive leader and junior medical professional committed to improve the well-being of disadvantaged groups and youth. She is interested in health policy and systems research, international development and global health equity. Her professional experience is mainly related to health policy, strategic planning and health emergencies as healthcare consultant for the public and private sector. She has collaborated in projects about medical surge capacity to COVID-19, digital response systems to health emergencies in Mexico and Latin America, as well as hospital feasibility studies for health planning. Currently, Jeanette works for the Government of Mexico, at the Instituto de Salud para el Bienestar to strengthen interprofessional collaboration and leadership to improve professional practice and healthcare outcomes. Also, she is part of the core team to set up the WGH Mexican Chapter.
