Paola Sanchez is a human rights, global health, and gender advocate from Quito, Ecuador, with over 10 years of experience advancing health equity and social justice. Her work has focused on sexual and reproductive rights, the HIV/AIDS response, migration and forced displacement, and road safety—always applying a human rights–based, gender-sensitive, and intersectional approach to keep the most vulnerable at the center of policies and programs. Paola has collaborated with government, civil society, and international institutions, equipping her to thrive in multicultural environments and build strong cross-sector partnerships.
Paola is fluent in Spanish (native), English, and French (intermediate), with basic knowledge of Portuguese. She holds a Bachelor degree in Political Science (Concordia University, Canada), a Master in International Law and Human Rights (University for Peace, Costa Rica), and a Master in Global Health (University of Gothenburg, Sweden)
